What's a fanlisting? Simply enough, a fanlisting is a website that lists fans of a certain subject. There is a fanlisting for pretty much anything you can think of, and they are listed by categories, such as Albums, Movies, and even Places. Check out TFL for more. Dredd is a 2012 sci-fi movie that stars Karl Urban as Judge Dredd, Olivia Thirlby as Anderson, and Lena Headey as Ma-Ma. It was directed by Pete Travis and written by Alex Garland, and is based upon the comic strip Judge Dredd that has been running in 2000 AD since 1977. This is the second Judge Dredd movie, but this one is not to be confused with the awful movie from 1995 staring Sylvester Stallone - these two films are two completely separate things and only one of them is a quality sci-fi film worthy of your time. (It's enough to watch the funniest parts of the Sylvester Stallone version on Youtube The film was released in September 2012. While it got a positive critical reception, this didn't translate into big numbers at the box office. This might partly be due to any lingering memories non-comic people still have of the Sly Stallone film, and partly due to the marketing. According to Wikipedia, the film actually won awards for it's trailers, but personally, the release date came and went with no promotion where I lived at the time.
